Word Search Typer combines the classic letter grid with typing. You hunt for hidden words in a grid, then type each one to cross it off the list. Looking, thinking and typing all share the work.

How to play

A grid of letters appears with a short list of themes, such as ocean or farm. Spot a word hidden in the grid, then type it to highlight it. Words run across, down or diagonally. Find every word on the list to complete the puzzle and earn stars.

The core idea

The twist is that you never drag a mouse across the grid. Instead, the game rewards you for typing the hidden word correctly, then draws the highlight for you. A hint button flashes the first letter of a word, and bonus words not on the list can be found for extra points. Larger grids and longer words unlock as you finish puzzles.

Scan for uncommon letters first, such as z, q or x, since words that contain them are easiest to spot. Then look for the first letter of a word on the list and check its neighbors in all directions. Typing right after you find a word keeps the spelling fresh and avoids losing your place in the grid.
