Notices that leave out required information may not be valid, and we may not be able to act on them. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f).

What happens next

When we receive a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the material and, where we can, let the person who provided it know.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the agent above. It must include:

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which Typing-Practice.io may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

After receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the person who filed the original notice. Unless they tell us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat infringers

We will remove content from, and stop working with, providers who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
