Bubble Type

Pop rising bubbles by pressing the right key, with finger-color hints to guide beginners.

Controls

Press the key shown in a bubble to pop it. Follow the finger colors on the on-screen keyboard. Esc pauses the game.

Bubble Type: Pop Bubbles with Home Row Keys

Bubble Type floats colorful bubbles up from the bottom of the screen, each holding a single letter. It is built to help beginners learn where the letters are, one finger at a time.

How to play

Press the key shown inside a bubble to pop it. Bubbles rise slowly, so you have plenty of time to find the right key. The game begins with the home row, then slowly adds the top row, the bottom row and finally capital letters as you pop more bubbles.

The core idea

A small keyboard on screen lights up the key you need and shows which finger to use. The color of each bubble matches the finger color, so the hand map becomes familiar quickly. When you pop ten bubbles in a row, a big bonus bubble drifts by and releases a short word when you pop it.

Skills you practice

  • Learning which finger belongs to which key
  • Building the habit of not looking down
  • Recognizing letters quickly
  • Staying relaxed with a slow, gentle pace

For teachers and parents

The finger-color guide matches what many teachers draw on classroom posters. Children can keep their hands on the keyboard and ignore the mouse completely. Parents can ask them to name the finger out loud before each press.

Tips for better play

Rest your fingers on the home row and let only the needed finger move. Resist looking at your hands, even if you press a few wrong keys at first. Wrong presses simply do nothing, so there is nothing to fear. A few relaxed minutes each day will help more than one long, tiring session.
